Application to Russian Consulate for business visa must be supported by a valid invitation from a Russian company. Centre ELTA can provide duly executed invitations to our business associates, partners and prospective clients. Centre ELTA proceeds with invitations through Consular Department of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Procedures and fees

To start we need to receive
     a completed application form <open a Word document here>,
     a copy of applicant's passport,
     as well as payment covering fees and disbursements (see below for estimation).

There are two ways to register the invitation.

First, we can apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow to issue a registered invitation letter which is usually valid within 45 days. The original of this registered letter should be attached to your application for visa to Russian Consulate in your country. You can either collect it from our office or order us to send it by courier mail to the address specified by you. Russian Embassy in some countries can issue visa against facsimile copy of such letter (please, consult in the embassy where you intend to apply for visa, if this is possible).

Otherwise, upon our application the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs can send a telex to the Russian Consulate with order to issue a short-term 1- or 2-entry visa. In such cases one does not need to worry about collecting the original letter. Telex is valid within 30 days. If the telex can not be found at the Russian Embassy within mentioned period of time, more likely the invited person previously had problems with his entry-exit documents. Our company can not be responsible for the situation of this kind and does not refund payments.

Arrangement of invitation by registered letter or by telex costs 50 USD. Disbursements consist of ministerial and consular fees, postage and bank expenses etc.
